Privacy is Kalkoro’s design principle: the values you enter into a tool (salaries, loan amounts, personal figures) are NOT sent to our servers to compute results; every calculation runs on your device. Calculation history is stored, tied to your account, only if you sign up and explicitly choose to. Input values are never collected for analytics; analytics receive only the tool identifier (slug) and language. This rule is enforced technically in our codebase.

• Identity / contact: name (optional) and email address — only if you sign up.

• Account / security: your password (hashed/encrypted), session data and sign-in provider (email/Google/Apple) — when you have an account.

• Usage data: the identifier (slug) and language (locale) of the tool used — anonymous.

• Calculation history: the raw values you entered plus a result summary — only on your device; and in your account if you are a member and history is on.

• Advertising identifier: ad ID (iOS IDFA / Android Advertising ID) — only if you allow it.

• Technical data: device/OS type, app version and crash logs — for service and diagnostics.

What we do not process: we do not knowingly collect special-category data; calculation inputs are not analysed on the server; permissions such as location, camera and contacts are not requested in this version.

• Creating and managing your account and authenticating you;

• Optionally syncing your favorites and calculation history across devices;

• Providing and improving the service and anonymously measuring which tools are popular;

• Diagnosing app errors and maintaining security;

• Showing ads to the extent permitted and, where consented, personalising them;

• Meeting legal obligations.

• Performance of a contract: your account and sync (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b));

• Consent: processing the advertising ID and personalised advertising — obtained via the ATT/consent screen and refusable (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a));

• Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, and anonymous measurement and improvement of the service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f));

• Legal obligation: retention/disclosure duties arising from law (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).

Data is collected electronically through the app/web interface, sign-up forms, social sign-in providers (Google/Apple) and advertising/analytics SDKs.

To the extent necessary, personal data is shared with service providers: our hosting/infrastructure provider (account and sync data); Google and Apple for authentication (only if you use that sign-in method); Google AdMob / Google Ireland Ltd. for advertising (the ad ID and impression data, subject to consent); and our error-tracking provider (anonymised crash logs). Some providers may be located abroad; such transfers are made with appropriate safeguards and, where required, your consent, in line with GDPR Chapter V and KVKK Art. 9.

The app may show Google AdMob ads. On iOS, App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission is requested before accessing the advertising ID; if you decline, ads continue to be shown without personalisation.

In regions such as the EU/UK, GDPR consent is obtained where applicable via Google’s consent management (UMP). You can reset your advertising ID or withdraw tracking permission at any time in your device settings.

On kalkoro.com we use strictly necessary cookies for session management and core functionality, and (consent-based) cookies/similar technologies for measurement and advertising. You can manage your preferences in the cookie notice on the website. The mobile app uses the SDK/identifier mechanisms above instead of cookies.

• Account data: while your account is active; on deletion it is removed/anonymised within a reasonable technical period.

• Calculation history: at most the last 50 records per user; removed when you delete them or your account.

• Anonymous usage data: may be retained in non-personal form.

• Records subject to legal retention: for the period required by the applicable law.

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and to request compensation for any damage.

From the in-app Account screen you can turn history off, delete records individually or all at once, and delete your account entirely (web: kalkoro.com/en/delete-account). Send requests to info@kalkoro.com; they are handled within the statutory time (as a rule 30 days). You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (or the Turkish Data Protection Authority under KVKK).

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures: transport encryption (HTTPS/TLS), secure on-device storage of sessions/tokens (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore), hashed password storage and access controls.

The Platform is not designed for anyone under 18; we do not knowingly collect personal data from under-18s. If we learn we have collected a child’s data, we delete it.

Our App Store "App Privacy" and Google Play "Data Safety" declarations are consistent with this Policy: the data collected is account data (email/name), anonymous usage data (tool slug) and — if permitted — the advertising ID. Calculation inputs are not collected.

This Policy may be updated; the current version is published on this page with the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes are announced appropriately.
